What is it?

This is a simple and strong wall hook I designed for my sister. She needed some small hooks but the command strip ones she was using was just a bit too small. So I set out to design a hook that is small enough to be discrete, while still being plenty strong and big enough to be useful. This is what I came up with!

How it works

I designed this to be attached to the wall using command strips or a similar type of adhesive. Please let me know if you want to see a version of this that uses screws! Just attach the hook to the wall and hang whatever your heart desires!

This hook is tested. It could hold about 4.5 pounds (2 kilograms) at the very tip of the hook before the command strip started to come off. The command strip is the failing point, not the hook itself. And the test was with PLA. Other materials would probably be stronger. The hook and adhesive with be plenty strong for any normal use. I was testing with extreme weight for such a small hook.
