I figured I'd make my own scanning pyramid instead of buying them.  This raises your part to make 3D scanning easier/better.  I added 3 6mm scanning dots to each side and one on each bottom tab to give more reference points.  It is 1.5" on each side of the base and 1.5" tall.

You could even add a pocket to the bottom to add a magnet if you want.
