A note on material (see the photo):

The pictured pair was printed in wood-fill PLA, which is not

recommended for a piece this small. The wood particles cause stringing and

fuzz and blur the fine feather detail. For a clean result print in **plain

PLA or silk PLA** — a dark or metallic silk especially flatters the owl.

If you do use wood-fill: dry the filament, drop the nozzle temp ~10 °C, raise

retraction, and slow down.

Print:

• Supports recommended (tree). The chin, brow tufts and talons overhang.

• - A brim helps the small footprint stick to the bed.

• - 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers for crisp feather detail.

• - Prints standing, as exported.
