The pictures are from a prototype, the misaligned hole has already been fixed.

This cable guide provides a hole for the shift cable housing towards the chainstay, normal cable guides usually have no hole, or a hole towards the down tube side.

In this case this was used to convert a normal city bike to one with a nexus (internally geared) wheel, in this case there was no cable eye on the chainstay. Using this guide eliminates the need for full cable housing (meaning using zipties etc.) down to the bottom bracket, which gives a cleaner overall look in these niche usecases.

To be mounted with an M5 bolt using a 4 mm end cap for the shift-cable housing.
