PFS, or Paracord Flat Spool for long, was just a little project I had the need for. I could practice my modeling skills and get my messes of paracord coils organized! Took a couple of revisions to get the spoke for tying the loose end on to, to the right height but now I'm rather pleased with the design. The holes are for looping the paracord through to hold it in place and then just wrapping around until you have a nice and tidy bundle of paracord for your future needs. The three rectangle holes in the middle are just for saving material. Do tell if you come up with a way to utilize them!
The thickness of the spool is 4mm (a bit more than 1/8"), the length is 200mm (8") and the total width is 90mm (a bit below 4"). You can easily wrap 31m (or 100 feet) on to the spool and if you've stocked up on your favorite color you CAN wrap 62m (or 200 feet) around the spool and it will still have room for more but I haven't tried going above that. At 31m of wrapped cord the thickness is of the spool is around 50mm (2"). At 62m of wrapped paracord the thickness is somewhere coler to 80mm (a bit above 3").
I personally like the honeycomb infill for this when using translucent filament and the top and bottom layers as octagonal spirals (if I remember the name correctly) but I highly suggest you do you baby!
Also, this is my first posted make here so please be constructive with your feedback please!
I hope this helps someone get their paracords organized!
