Descrição
An octagonal based parts tray with a lip, for holding/sorting/organising any manner of parts or bits.
Designed around a 75x75x15mm base structure, with adjustable length and width. Files for the base 75x75 and a larger 140x100 have been included in both .stl and .step.
The attached Fusion file has a number of parameters set up for custom sizes, although it comes with a few caveats as this is my first attempt at a parametric design inside Fusion:
The four 'corner' sides of the tray are set at a constant with the 75x75 as a base, to provide some conformity.
The height has not been tested outside the base 15mm height.
There are settings for chamfer size, fillet size, lip size and wall thickness, however funkiness may occur when changing these values. I found these values to be the optimal for what I needed.
Printing:
Printed on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon in Black and Sky Blue Elegoo PLA, via Orcaslicer.
Material: PLA
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer height: 0.2mm
Walls: 4
Infill density: 100%
No supports needed.
Top Surface Pattern:
I used the Octagram Spiral as the top surface pattern @ 80% density to give a nice look to the main tray area. I also used a modifier for the top surface of the lip to make it more solid and appear cleaner. This should be set up in the included .3mf but here are some pictures just incase:

Attribution:
I initially tried out this tray but found it didn't quite fit my needs and I had trouble getting the parametric side of things to work. I used this as a reason to finally learn Fusion and took some inspiration from this design and how it was set up inside of Fusion whilst building mine from the ground up.
