Hardware Notes

I used an ESP32 Development Board: ESP32-WROOM-32 NodeMCU with 1.96″ TFT LCD Display

For the power supply, I reused a small lithium battery salvaged from a disposable e-cigarette.
These batteries are very compact and work well for small portable ESP32 projects instead of being thrown away. An optional buzzer can be added for simple game sound effects, and a small miniature power switch is recommended to turn the console on and off conveniently.

print settings:

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm

  • Infill: 15–20%

  • No supports required

  • top and bottom: PETG or PLA

  • buttons: TPU (or what ever you prefer)

The Game:

The game runs directly on the ESP32 and was designed as a minimalist arcade experience.
The goal is to jump at the right moment and avoid obstacles, collect skins, pass portals and jump on orbs.

The software can easily be uploaded using the Arduino IDE

Have fun building your own mini ESP32 game console 🙂
