10 Inch Modular Server Rack – 5U, 4U, 3U, 2U variants

I required a 10 inch server rack but found no existing design that fit my needs. This is my own design. Every model fits on a Bambu Lab P1P or similar sized build plate. The maximum height is 5U. Smaller racks (4U, 3U, 2U) are available to print when less than 5U of space is required.

External dimensions (5U rack)

PETG, ABS or ASA

Print settings

• Walls: 4

• Top/bottom layers: 4

• Infill: 15% gyroid

Hardware required (minimum for basic rack)

• 16 x M6 x 16 mm nuts and bolts. More needed for mounting equipment.

Printed parts – basic rack

• Vertical posts: 4 (supports required). Flip two posts for the opposite side.

• Side braces: 4

• Front and back braces: 4

Available part variants

• Vertical posts: 5U, 4U, 3U, 2U

• Side covers: 5U, 4U, 3U, 2U (optional)

• Front and rear brace (one size fits all models)

• Side brace (one size fits all models)

• Top and bottom cover (same model fits top and bottom)

• Feet for front, back and sides (optional)

All models use the same front braces, back braces, top cover and bottom cover. Only the vertical posts change per rack height. Side braces are universal. Side covers are optional and height‑specific. Front/back braces and side braces have holes for mounting.

File format
All files provided as STL. Models are oriented for best printing. Only vertical posts require supports. A complete .3mf file containing all models is also included.

Assembly notes
Assemble using M6 hardware through the holes in braces and posts. Feet are optional.
