Berry Picker

This berry picker is designed to quickly and easily pick small berries such as blueberries or lingonberries. The space between the tines of the berry picker are wider at the front to more easily pick berries without worrying about damage. Once picked the berries are stored in the picker due to the internal ramp design, to remove the berries simple turn the picker upside down and pour them out!

Dimensions:

• Width: 141.2 mm

• Gap between tines: 0.5 mm decreasing to 0.4 mm

Print:

Printing the berry picker does not require any supports if printed in the original model orientations.

I have printed both the top and bottom parts with 4 perimeters and a line width of 0.6 mm (using a 0.4 mm nozzle). The design and the perimeters make the model very sturdy therefore limited infill is necessary, I used 10% cubic infill, but lightning infill should be just fine and will result in a faster print. Print time for each part was ~2h, in total 4h for the entire model. Printed in PLA the total model weight was 206 g.

Assembly:

Assembling the model can be difficult. If necessary sanding the two backmost locking lugs may aide in assembly. I might adress this issue in the future.
