The Universal "Brick-ify" Stamp & Mold

Ever wanted to turn your scrap plastic, clay, or even leftover silicone into a perfectly compatible building brick? This Universal Brick Stamp allows you to "stamp" any moldable material into that iconic $2 \times 4$ shape.

Whether you are experimenting with recycled plastic shreds, DIY silicone casting, or even kinetic sand, this tool gives you the perfect dimensions every time.

How It Works

The design consists of a three-part precision system:

1. The Base Reservoir: Holds your raw material and defines the outer walls of the brick.

2. The Stud Die (Top): Features the iconic circular studs. Press this down to emboss the top texture.

3. The Ejector: A clean release mechanism to ensure your "logo-shaped" creation pops out without deforming.

Recommended Use Cases

• Recycled Plastic Art: Melt down HDPE (Milk jugs/bottle caps) and press them into colorful, marbled bricks.

• Workshop Organization: Cast custom drawer organizers that snap together.

• Educational Tools: Teach kids about injection molding and manufacturing processes using play-dough or clay.

Print Settings

To ensure the stamp can handle the pressure of manual pressing:

• Material: PETG or Tough P

  LA (for durability).

• Infill: 40% or higher (Gyroid recommended for compressive strength).

• Walls: 4–5 loops to prevent splitting under pressure.

• Layer Height: 0.16mm (for smooth stud detail).

Note: For the best results with recycled plastics, ensure you use a release agent (like a tiny bit of cooking oil or mold release spray) so the material doesn't bond to the 3D printed parts!
