Description
This is version 5 of my Infinity Cube, refined through multiple iterations to achieve the best possible performance and feel.
I originally discovered this design at school when someone brought a printed version. I got one to take home, and it made me think: why not try designing my own? So I recreated it based only on that fidget toy and started developing my own version for 3D printing.
However, my first versions didn’t feel quite right. They were too tight and not comfortable to use, especially one-handed. I went through several iterations—testing, adjusting, and unfortunately wasting some filament along the way while identifying the issues.
After four redesigns, I improved the tolerances to create smoother movement and a slightly looser, more comfortable feel. The result is a much more satisfying and easy-to-use fidget toy, especially for one-handed use.
