The impossible dovetail is a classic headscratcher from woodworking. When assembled it has the appearance of an impossible to build geometry. In reality, the angular geometry of the dovetail makes the joint possible. This table leg consists of a foot module, a middle module, and a top module. For each table leg, you print one foot, one top, and as many middle modules as you need to achieve the height of your table. To assemble, you simply slide the dovetails together and stack the leg up. Once constructed, you strengthen the whole together with a long length of M8 threaded rod. The middle module threads have a hollow in the central channel so keep the overall thread length lower and prevent binding.
