Archery Arrow Rest Replacement

I designed this replacement arrow rest specifically for 3D printing.

The intention was to use as thin a profile as possible to allow the plastic to flex under use. The recommended print orientation helps to prevent cracking and breaking along layer lines. To prevent excess artifacts from slicer generated supports, a minimal pre-support has been modeled into the design. This can be removed and lightly sanded or shaved down, if a small bur still remains.

As this is not intended to be printed with a brim, a clean build plate or print speed adjustments may be necessary for good bed adhesion. For best results, print at finest detail layer height (~0.10mm) with 100% infill, although the model should be too thin to generate infill.

Both right and left hand models are included, as well as models of the arrow rests without pre-support for use and print orientation experimentation.

Affix the arrow rest to your bow using double stick foam tape, or similar. I've found ~3mm thick tape to work well, allowing for varying surface contours of the bow.
