Finishing Tips (Highly Recommended)

To achieve the full Kintsugi effect:

1. Prime and sand for a smooth surface

2. Paint the egg in your base color

3. Fill the cracks with gold acrylic paint (or metallic marker)

4. Optional: apply a clear coat for a glossy ceramic look

The gold cracks really pop with a glossy finish — as seen in the photos.
