I designed this to mount my pixel 7 pro to the camera port on an AMScope Microscope. I wanted some thing easier to use and less expensive than a dedicated camera. It is sized specifically for my model of phone and it would need to be modified to work with other phones. I'm releasing this as a proof of concept for others to modify and take inspiration from.
A lens cover is included to cover the lends when not in use. The lens cover accepts 6mm x 2mm press fit magnets to help store it when the microscope is in use.
The base mounts to and AMScope AD-C10-CX 1X Focus adjustment adpaper and this is used to adjust the focus of the system.
What you need:
7x M3 heat set inserts. These are all set into the base.
2x Knurled thumb screws (I used 92558A320) Any M3 screw 10mm or longer will work. These are used to secure the base to the focus adjustment.
2x M3 12mm or longer bolts. These are used to hold the internal lens in place.
3x M3 Button head screws (I used 92095A182). Longer one will work but you need low profile button heads to fit. Larger socket heads will not let the phone sit flat in the holder.
1x spare microscope eye piece. I upgraded my microscope to wide angle eye pieces and I used my old eye piece for the camera mount. Camera mount eye Piece: WF10X/20. I recommended replacing the eye pieces with the upgraded part and using the old parts for the camera mount. Search for this part: WF10X/24
