This is a 3D-printable Yad (Hebrew for "hand"), a ceremonial pointer used to follow the text during a Torah reading. It is designed to be lightweight, balanced, and respectful of tradition, featuring the classic "finger" at the tip.

Design Features

• Loop Attachment: Includes a small eyelet at the end for a decorative cord or chain

Printing Recommendations

• Material: I recommend Silk PLA or PETG for a metallic appearance (Silver or Gold).

• Orientation: Print horizontally with supports for the best structural integrity, or vertically with a large brim if you want a smoother surface finish.

• Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid recommended for weight balance).

• Post-Processing: Light sanding and a coat of food-safe clear spray can help give it a polished, ceremonial look.
