What happens when a grandpa with a 3D printer decides prehistoric sea monsters belong in the toy box?

You get this Mosasaurus.

This model is inspired by the giant marine reptile featured in Jurassic World, where the Mosasaurus steals the show by launching out of the water like a scaly cruise missile and reminding everyone that the ocean is still very much in charge.

I made this one for my grandson, because every kid deserves at least one ancient apex predator in their dinosaur collection.

The model is easy to scale, so you can print a small desk-sized sea monster or a larger “uh-oh something just ate the shark” version.

Print Notes

• Organic supports are recommended for best results.

• Tested successfully in PLA, but other materials should work just fine.

If your print turns out great, post a make!

And remember:
The Mosasaurus wasn’t technically a dinosaur… but it still absolutely dino-mights your desk display.

Also fair warning: if this thing disappears from your kid’s toy bin, check the bathtub. That’s its natural habitat.
