There are many other Book Box models available on Printables, but I wanted to try something a little different.

The model is a single piece. No assembly or gluing required, simply snap the spine into the cover and you're good! (please note that once snapped, they are very difficult to separate)

Covers and spine are printed right on the bed for a smooth rendering. If you have a MMU/AMS, you can use the STEP file I provided and your favorite CAD software (or use your slicer) to customize the box and add logo and/or text. You can also add compartments inside and turn it into an organizer. Take a look on my "Keep Calm" book box remix to get an idea of the possibilities.

The locking system may be a little difficult to use when opening it for the first few times, it's on purpose; I wanted a locking system that was completely invisible from the outside. Feel free to adjust it to your liking using the STEP file.

The dimensions of the closed box are 121 x 77 x 24 mm.

My print settings:

• 0.4mm nozzle

• 0.2mm layer height

• 10% infill

You can introduce a color change at 4.2mm to print the pages in white. You need a bed that is at least 180 x 130 mm.
