I liked the idea of Andrew Bird's handle for the sparrows picks, but when I tried it my picks didn't fit in it. I took this as an opportunity to get some practice with FreeCad, as I'm new to CAD and 3D printing. The 3mf files are for the Tuxedo picks in 0.015" and 0.025" and for the SSDV picks in 0.015". Since all three of these are different, each of them needed a different model.
The FreeCad file is included, so you can customise it for any other similar pick. The dimensions of the picks are in the spreadsheet in the file and the dataset controls how thick and width the handle is and there is also a value for the tolerance as the picks didn't fit into my test prints that used the exact size of the picks.
I printed my handles in PLA on a Snapmaker U1 with the default 0.2mm profile from the original Orca slicer.
To print them you place a pause in the slicer at the layer that bridges the space for the pick and then put the pick there and resume the print. For my settings this was at layer 12. To make the pick stick better in the lower half and have the filament sticking better to the pick I used a glue stick on both sides of the handle part of the pick.
