Modelo 3D Linkle Figurine por JohnRK23 no Printables

Descrição

I wanted a Linkle figurine, but the one that I found I wasn't thrilled with, so I created this one.  The prints shown were made with a Core One in PLA and the settings below at 150mm height (100% model size).  The filaments used were Flashforge Bronze PLA, Polymaker's Panchroma Ying-Yang Dual, and Overture's Green-Blue Silk PLA.

If anyone prints this with a resin printer, please upload an image here, I'd love to see it.

Settings Checklist (The Golden Profile)

For successful printing, I recommend using the included .3mf file or replicating these settings:

  • Orientation: Leaning backwards 45'. This worked best for the bow strings, and reduced layer lines on the front of the print.

  • Layer Height: 0.15mm fixed. I explicitly chose not to use Adaptive Layer height here, as it bypassed current PrusaSlicer synchronization issues with organic supports.

  • Profile: Structural (Priority over Fast Detail).

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm.

  • Perimeters: 3 (Conditions the model for easier support removal without snapping appendages).

  • Infill: 10% Gyroid (Isotropic strength with no nozzle-crossing collisions).

  • Supports: Organic Style (enable "Structural" branches), Everywhere. This reduces vibrations on tall, thin supports, and Everywhere supports Linkle's belt and compass.

    • XY Separation: 80%.

    • Top Contact Z Distance: 0.22mm. This is optimized for a balance between easy removal and structural anchoring.

  • Bridges: Set Bridge Flow Ratio to 0.95. This works in tandem with the 0.22mm Z-gap and full cooling fan to solidify the "roofs" mid-air, preventing sag.

You can reduce the size of the print below 150mm, but the bow strings become very brittle and prone to breaking.  The pictures were taken at the default 150mm height.

I attempted to print it with a layer height of 0.10mm with the 0.4mm nozzle, but the print ended up a stringy nest a filament and sadness.  I do not recommend, even thought I did get a couple at that height to print while testing the model.

Printer-Specific Notes

  • Prusa Core One / MK4: You should enable Stealth Mode or otherwise slow down the printing process. The standard "High Flow" jerk/acceleration caused the tall organic supports to resonate and eventually break free in early prints. Stealth mode slows down the kinematics and resolves this issue.

  • Nozzle Note: My successful prints used a hardened steel (non-HF) nozzle. I had to increase the print temperature for the Flashforge Bronze Silk to 215°C to compensate for the steel's slower thermal conductivity.  The Panchroma version printed fine with the default Panchrome PLA setting
