A barrow-wight is a chilling undead creature from J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, particularly featured in The Lord of the Rings. These malevolent beings are evil spirits that inhabit and animate the ancient bones buried in barrows (grave mounds) on the eerie Barrow-downs in Eriador. Sent by the Witch-king of Angmar to haunt the tombs and prevent the living from reclaiming the land, they appear as shadowy figures with cold, glowing eyes and an icy touch, luring victims into their dark lairs to trap and slay them. Tolkien drew inspiration from Norse mythology's draugr—vengeful undead guardians of burial mounds—blending ancient folklore with his own invented horror to create these wraith-like terrors.

Best printed in resin and glued to appropriate sized base.
