Grass Rear Drawer Slide Mounting Bracket (Reverse Engineered Replacement)

This is a replacement rear mounting bracket for older Grass epoxy-coated roller drawer slides (commonly found in 80s–90s kitchens).

The original plastic bracket had cracked. A spare intact bracket was used to reverse engineer this model in Fusion, with minor structural improvements for 3D printing durability.

Test fit confirmed: perfect and flawless fit.

What This Is

Rear cabinet mounting bracket for:

• Grass roller drawer slides

• Side-mount, partial extension style

• Epoxy-coated (beige/yellow finish)

This bracket mounts to the back panel of the cabinet and captures the rear of the metal drawer slide rail.

Print Settings (Recommended)

This part is structural and takes shear + impact load. Print accordingly.

Material:

• Best: Polycarbonate (PC)

• Excellent: Glass-Filled ABS (tested successfully)

• Avoid PLA/PETG

Settings:

• 3 - 4 walls

• 100% infill

• 0.12mm layer height

• Low cooling (especially for ABS)

• Print standing up on the small tab with supports under it. This ensures no internal support material. It prints stronger laying flat however, so if you're comfortable removing all of the internal supports, that would be ideal.

Left / Right Version

The opposite side can be created by simply mirroring the model.

This model was designed based on one specific Grass bracket. Verify dimensions against your existing bracket before printing.

Why This Exists

OEM replacements are difficult to source and often discontinued. Replacing the entire slide assembly can require cabinet modification.

This allows a clean, drop-in repair.
