General:
This is a three axis, rotate and tilt vise.
Similar vises that I have downloaded and printed in the past never seem to hold in position very well. So to overcome this, I've designed the axis pivots with a tooth and pocket arrangement so that they will lock securely in place once tightened. The downside is that the adjustments are not infinitely variable but are instead stepped in 15 degree intervals for the X and Z axis and 10 degree intervals for the Y axis.

The vise will clamp onto a desk or table with a maximum thickness of 40mm.
The vise jaws are 60mm wide with an opening of 70mm. The vise jaw grips are interchangable and I've provided the freecad file so that freecad users can modify them as they wish.
Printing:
There are quite a few bits to print.
The provided STL files are already oriented correctly for slicing. No supports are needed.
Print with a layer height of 0.2mm in PETG or similar.
With the exception of the screws and pivot arm, print all parts with a minimum of four perimeters and 20% infill.
The vice jaw screw is in two parts. The knob can be printed as above, however, the threaded shaft needs to be printed with solid infil.
For the remaining screws set the seam alignment to random then use a cylindrical modifier over the shaft and threaded portions. Set the modifier to increase the number of walls to 5 and infill to 100%.
On assembly, if the screws are very tight reduce the flow rate slightly when printing the screws. It may be worth test printing the X-axis pivot screw and hinge clamp to check tolerances.
For the Pivot Arm print with 5 perimeters and 40% infill.
For the table clamp foot boot and anti-slip boot print using TPU for increased grip.
Assembly:
Assembly is straight forwards. All parts either screw together using the axis pivot screws or slot into grooves. The image below indicates were all the parts go.

The Z axis pivot circlip should sit flush inside the desk clamp. Clip the circlip over the non threaded part of the Z axis pivot screw and then slide it into the recess in the clamp.

NOTE: the Vise jaw screw comprises of two parts, the knob and threaded shaft. These push together, a bit of force is required to fully push the shaft into place; you should feel/hear two distinct clicks.

If you do not want the axis screws to have X, Y or Z on the end see the folder Axis Screws without text.
