The 3D Printable compact chess set requires no supports, hardly any filament, and works on even the smallest of printers! It even comes with (currently) 3 new custom chess players! Customize the board size and shape for fun games and play with custom rules and players (custom/normal rules below)! Please give me feedback and comment below if you find any bugs or have suggestions for new pieces.

Assembly Info

The puzzle piece shaped board pieces can be interconnected in any way for different boards. All player pieces can either go in their intended squares (instructions below) or anywhere on the board, be creative!

Piece Requirements

For a normal game:

• 2 Kings

• 2 Queens

• 4 Bishops

• 4 Rooks

• 4 Knights

• 16 Pawns

• 64 Puzzle Tiles

For a custom piece game:

Be creative and organize your pieces in any way imaginable! You can even change the shape of your board for wacky yet fun games! Any ideas are listed below:

Notes

Scaling the models' sizes may result in pieces not connecting properly.

The first assembly might require slightly aggressive hammering to work the board pieces into shape.

The more infill, the more durability.

Board pieces may need some work to fit together nicer, they should go together in a way that if you picked it up, it wouldn't fall apart.

Custom Rules

The Jester

The Jester attacks like a knight but instead can move and number of paces forward before turn left or right where it can move up to 4 tiles away.

The Scribe

The Scribe is moves and attacks a pawn (forward one tile)* but can also attack forwards one tile instead of just diagonally one tile.

*First-move rules still apply

The Archer

The Archer moves like a bishop (diagonally in any direction) but cannot attack diagonally, it must move one tile either vertically or horizontally to attack.
