This is a a simple, modular storage stand for empty filament spools. Print one base plus as many threaded rod sections as you want as the rods screw together so you can build the height you need.

This model has three parts:

1. Base - A wide, stable disk with an integrated threaded hub.

2. Threaded Rod Sections - Rod segments that screw into the base and into each other so you can stack spools vertically. Add one rod for a short stack, add more rods for a taller stack.

3. Cap - Spools are hollow, so a cap for the top.

Printing:

Wall loops: 3, Infill: 15% , Material: PLA or PETG, Use a brim of 10-12mm when printing.  Might also require glue on the plate when fast printing.

However, if you plan to use these rods horizontally for any other purpose, you will need more strength.  Use wall loops: 6-8, Infill: 25% .

Print Notes / Tips:

1. Print the base and cap flat on the build plate.

2. Print each rod standing upright.

3. Use a brim of 10-12mm when printing the rod.  If printing fast, the plate might need glue as the rods are tall and unstick from the plate if not careful. Supports should not be necessary in normal slicing.

4. If threads come out tight, slightly increase XY compensation in your slicer, or lightly sand the thread starts to help the first engagement.

As you can see in the pics, I used some really cheap basic PLA for this print and the threading was good and tight with no issues.
