I really liked the Bedside Buddy Bin just the way it was. But I quickly got used to it, even when I don’t have a cold, so it ended up staying permanently. Since it became a long-term installation, I thought it could benefit from a few additional features – such as being bagless, and possibly having a printed hinge.

I was also very impressed when I saw and examined the model “Trash Can (Bin) to Car Door” by @43DPRINT. The design is both beautiful and highly functional.

I printed the bin using flexible filament (press-fit variant), but if you prefer to use PETG or PLA, please use the bin variant that comes with increased tolerance.

Feel free to customize it to your needs by editing the corresponding STEP files.
