Descrição
Split flap displays have been used in many places, often to be able to display many different words and phrases without having to use digital displays. Before such displays were common in airports, for example, many departure/arrival boards used split flap displays to dynamically show the cities that flights departed or arrived from.
Most split flap displays use motors to spin through the entire alphabet, ensuring every individual node can show every letter, but this project has less letter slots per individual node. It's meant only to cycle through 8 phrases by turning a rod.
Letter Prep
Letter tiles print blank. Letters can be added through marker, printing vinyl letters, or a method of your choice!
Stack the letter tiles with the notched side facing down.
Flip a tile downwards.
Draw or apply the letter to the two face-up tiles.
Flip another tile downwards.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all tiles have letters.
For the last tile, take the tile at the bottom of the pile. Put it above the last blank tile and apply the letter as normal.

The order in which letters should be added should match the order of the phrases to be displayed. The first letter to be added should be the nth letter (depending on the node which you're ordering the letters for) of the first phrase, the second letter should be the nth letter of the second phrase, and so on.
example, using words HACK and CLUB
Before Spin --> After Spin
H --> C
A --> L
C --> U
K --> B
