Nami “The Wave” - Mech Pilot “455NX2”
>>>Click for soundtrack<<<

Nami, a ground mech operator of the Carbon Alliance, suspended in a floating posture. Sleek, almost ethereal, with smooth geometry of her synthetic body accented by intricate details that suggest a fusion of flesh and engineered precision. Long PLA (or PETG) suspend her in a cage of light, symbolizing both her dedication to duty and her ascension into something beyond human…

Nami next to her X5 Archangel mech
Nami’s story is as haunting as it is inspiring. At the age of 14, her family was slain and she was critically injured during one of the early incursions of The Threat, and the Alliance made a choice. Most of her organic body was replaced with carbon and silicon implants, turning her into a living neural interface for their experimental combat mechs.

While much of her body was stripped away, her mind and spirit endured, tethered to machines that only she could truly command.

Autonomous hunter of The Threat, designated "Assimilator Drone". Functions as a forward combat and elimination platform. Standard armament includes a precision rail rifle capable of penetrating light armor plating. One such unit is believed to have entered Nami’s dwelling, initiating the event that defined her fate.
At this time, she serves in the 5th Regiment with distinction, piloting her X5 Arc Angel mech, spearheading assaults against the endless legions of The Threat with fearlessness and devotion. Although loyal to the Alliance, she often challenges her officers when they issue orders that put her fellow servicemen and women in harm’s way without need. Sources close to the Fleet Command report that she is on the short list for an officer commission, overseeing ground operations on Gaia Prime

Even now, years later, there are moments where Nami feels the absence of her human self. The warmth of skin, the rhythm of a heartbeat, the fragility that once defined her. Yet she carries no regret, because for Nami; pride comes from service. On the frontlines, she is not just an operator, but a weaponized extension of mankind’s will to survive and her own vow for revenge.

She is the bridge between human resolve and mechanical might, a symbol of sacrifice and resilience in humanity’s war struggle The Threat.
SPECIAL NOTE!!!!!
Try not to use the bq or Super Tack plate, taking the print off may damage the strings. When you finish printing, LET IT COOL! If you try to pull it off while it is hot, the strings will bend. This is especially true with this model, the body is very thin and fragile, the plate needs to be cold and the print will pop off without issues.

Remove the frame first, place the scraper under and run the perimeter of the frame until it is fully released.

Finally,
gently lift the model off the plate. Take your time, if you are having a
hard time try placing the plate inside the fridge for 10 minutes and
use a sharper blade. Remember to only use it to lift the model, not
scrape the plate.
This
model uses arachne, so the strings are even thinner then my previous
models. Most models with strings only use a single 0.24 layer high
string, I use two. That way, if one fails, the other usually does not.
There are other variations on the way, such as AMS painted, strings
different color and support for the lamp and waterproof pucks. But, you
also need to have proper adhesion, clean your plate and watch the print
so you get the best results possible.
To light it you will need the standard 3AAA RGBW pucks from bambu lab or aliexpress, two in total.
Relatively
simple, assemble the two halves using an assembly jig in the profile,
it is basically two rings that will fit exactly to the two halves, just
make sure you put a paper down so the glue doesn't leak and ruin your
table (ask me how I know). There are nubs in the provided bases and it
will keep it in place for a desktop stand, but carrying it around
without gluing it, is not advised… if you are happy with it and do not
wish to reuse the base for my other models, go ahead and glue it.
Also, DO NOT change layer size because then the mid air strings may fail. Any issues, let me know.
