Having bought a workbench to place my printers it needed stabilizing. With this assembly the designated legs can be attached to the wall making it very sturdy. For my specific case a workbench leg has the following dimensions: 60.5 x 40.5 mm (width x depth). Hope this assembly helps to inspire others for their use case.

One assembly is needed per workbench leg that needs to be fixed to the wall. It consists of the following parts:

• A Wall Mount.

• A Frame Mount.

• An optional Spacer in case the threaded rod sticks out of the wall too much (happened to me as I did not manage to insert the screw-end far enough in the wall).

Parts List

A kit to mount a sink or washbasin to a wall. I had a mounting kit lying around that I mostly repurposed. It consists of the following parts:

• 2x Plug 12 x 60 mm (diameter x length).

• 2x Threaded Rod\Screw combination. This combination is 90 mm in length of which one end is the threaded rod (40 mm long x 10 mm diameter). The other end is the screw (40 mm long x 9 mm diameter).

• 2x M10 Washer x 30 mm (diameter).

• 2x M10 Nut x 8 mm (height).

• 2x M10 Nut x 5 mm (height).

• Workbench & sturdy Wall :)

Notes

• Make sure that the total height of two nuts does not exceed 13 mm.

• In case you are wondering, the second nut (put on last) is used to fixate the first one. Thus avoiding it getting loose because of printing vibrations.

Printing

• Fill density: 50%.

• Fill pattern: Grid.

• Support: Only for the Wall Mount part, none for the other parts.

• Filament: I recommend PETG because it's less brittle than PLA (depending on the circumstances it could be necessary to hammer parts in place).

Assembling

• Measure to determine each position of the clamp on the wall. Measure again and repeat when in doubt.

• Fix each Wall Mount (and optional Spacer) to the wall with a Plug, Rod\Screw combination, Washer, 2x Nut.

• Put the Workbench in place.

• Fix each Frame Mount to its Wall Mount (use appropriate tools to exert force if necessary).
