I was looking for a small garbage bin to keep close to my printer for failed prints and other excess material to throw away.

I was looking for something rectangular to maximise the volume while fitting in the limited space I have available.

I was also looking to make it somewhat unique and interesting, so I came up with this small dumpster design.

The main body doesn't need support.

A small support is required for the door handle.

Uses a piece of 1.75mm filament as an hinge.

NOTE: DO NOT SCALE the model in your slicer. If you do, the piece of filament to use as an hinge won't fit or will be loose. The .blend (blender) file is provided if anyone wants to change the dimensions.

Print instructions:

• PLA (or any other material)
• Layer height: 0.2mm
• No supports for the body. Support suggested for the lid
• 4 perimeters for rigidity, 15-25% infill
