This is a 3D-printed model of the Minecraft Redstone Lamp, created for functional lighting and easy post-processing.

🖨 Printing Details

Nozzle: 0.4 mm

Layer height: 0.2 mm

Material: Matte black PETG (outer walls), White PETG (inner block)

The lamp is available in two versions:

One-piece outer shell + inner cube

Separated wall panels + inner cube — the version I printed, where each wall is printed individually.

The lamp is printed as separate wall panels. After printing all five walls, I glued them together to form the outer shell.

🔲 Wall Panels (Outer Shell)
Printed in matte black PETG, the five wall pieces form the exterior of the Redstone Lamp.

Print orientation: Each wall panel was printed flat with the outer surface facing upward

Ironing: Top surface ironing enabled for cleaner, smoother faces

Infill: 15%

🔳 Inner Core Block
The internal block was printed in white PETG using the following settings:

Bottom shell layers: 3

Top shell layers: 0 (printed open on top)

Wall loops: 1

Infill: 0%

This produces a lightweight, hollow structure ideal for diffusing light and housing the electronics.

💡 Electronics

For lighting, I used:

NodeMCU ESP8266

5× WS2813 LEDs

This setup delivers bright, customizable illumination inside the lamp, perfectly recreating the iconic Redstone glow.
