The Polymaker Reusable Master Spool is a durable, empty spool designed to hold refill filament coils sold without disposable plastic spools.

It allows users to reuse the same spool multiple times, reducing plastic waste and shipping volume. The refill filament comes neatly wound in a compact refill that can be easily mounted onto the Master Spool by snapping the two spool halves together, no tools required.

This system helps make 3D printing more eco-friendly, space-efficient, and cost-effective, while maintaining the same user experience as traditional spooled filament.

Update March 17, 2026:
We have updated only the "Side B" files to address an issue some users experienced with refill binding, caused by an unnecessary gap in the original model dimensions.

All other files have been updated to higher resolution versions only and do not require reprinting.

If you have already printed the original models, we recommend reprinting just the updated "Side B" part to avoid any potential issues.
