Modular Picture Frame Kit

The metric frame parts 120mm up to 180mm angles were wrong.  They were 44.13 degrees and should obviously have been 45 degree cuts for the corners.

Added a clip to pin frames together at the sides and/or tops to form a modular system.  Multiple clips can be used on each frame length to increase stability and strength.

There are STLs for 1, 8 and 16 piece sets.

Converted files to include metric frame sides - 100mm, 120mm, 140mm, 160mm and 180mm.

With this standard-profile set of parts you can construct picture frames for photographs, etc of 4” x 4”, 6” x 4”, 6” x 6”, 6” x 5”, 8” x 6”, 16” x 12” or any other combination.

The corner and side joiners are a tight push fit so you can take the frame apart and reconfigure it.

Fix the picture in the traditional manner:  Insert glass then mount then picture then hardboard backing and secure with masking tape or similar.

PRINT SETTINGS:
PLA, PTEG or ABS

Layer height:  0.2 mm
Infill:  10%
No brim, skirt or supports required

POST PRINTING:
None
