Descrição
I wanted a better surface to use my mouse on when I'm sitting on my recliner, so I designed this mouse pad with flexible wings that help keep it on the couch arm. It's a multimaterial print, but doesn't require a tool changer. If you have low standard, I've found mousing directly on a PETG surface fine, but one could just glue a mousepad to the center section if they have different preferences.
(Ignore the horrid-looking top surface on the pictured model, my SV08 had a partial jam near the end)
Print Settings
- Set a filament change on layer 5 to handle the transition from the tpu backing to hard surface
- You may want to play with bottom layers to get a good bonding surface between the two materials
- I used 95A TPU for the bottom and PETG for the top, weld seems good.
- Print the TPU side nice and slow
- Consider slowing down on the first layer after the transition.
