I'm super proud of this cute little clay pumpkin my Daughter made last year! It's so cute, we wanted to share it to spread some holiday cheer.

I love the clever way her design integrates the lid directly into the face carving. I wanted to investigate her design without damaging the original, so I scanned it and brought it into my usual sculpting tools to mess around with.

The download includes:

• The SCAN of her original sculpture.
• And the REVISED adjustments. The changes I made were so it prints a little easier, and the thickness of the original medium doesn't obstruct light showing off the silly face.

Honestly, I prefer her original, but the clay lid felt a little wobbly when translated to plastic, so I've made it fit more snugly, as intended.

Printing:

• The parts will require some supports
• I've printed the REVISED model, arranged as separate pieces on the buildplate. 
• I was able to print the model in one piece, but it required a troubling amount of force with a screwdriver to pop the pieces apart.
