DESCRIPTION: 

I created an adjustable spoolholder for my ikea LACK enclosure, because most of my spools have different widths. After a few rolls I got tired off manualy rotating the knob for the  moving plate, so I also included a mount for NEMA17 stepper motors. 

Things not 3D-printable:

• 2x linear rods (8mm diameter, ca. 200mm length)
• 1x Leadscrew (8mm diameter, ca. rodlength + 40mm)
• 1x Leadscrew-nut (light gray in picture)
• 4x VSlot-Rolls (https://amzn.to/3CfIsYA used in this design)
• 13x Threaded Insert M3 (https://amzn.to/3vBZrmr used in this design)
• 13x M3 Screws
• Zip-Ties to keep Lead-Screw in place

For Use with Stepper Motor additionally:

• 1x Electronics: Arduino, NEMA17 Stepper, 2 Pushbuttons, Stepperdriver (e.g. A4988)
• 1x Powersupply (1x for Arduino, 1x for stepper (can be used from printer)
• 1x Motor coupler 5mm to 8 mm (https://amzn.to/35IgqbI used in this design)
• 1x DC/DC converter (https://amzn.to/35vRsNm I use this one) for 12/24V to 5V for Arduino

FUTURE CHANGES / RECOMMENDATIONS

• Limitswitch should be added
• NumPad support to enter spool widths (needs limitswitch) instead of jogging manually
• GCode support (which command should be used? G1 because linear move?)
