A really simple lockbox with a key that I designed because I wanted to figure out how to make a lock of some sort and then had to make something to use it in.

I wouldn't be keeping valuables in it, but its a nice way of storing things that you don't want random desk visitors playing with or seeing.

Printing;

Print With Supports.

• Lockbox - Lid (Everywhere)
• Lockbox - Box (Everywhere)

Everything else can be printed without supports as already orientated.

Assembly is pretty straight forward, Just look at the picture of the STL's (note:  Cover plate on finished photo is slightly different to the stl file - That's an earlier version)

I fixed the cover plate in place with a few drops of glue to hide the locking mechanism and keep it all together.

If you're feeling particularly enthused, you can change the recessed shape on the lock plate and key to customise this.
