There are several LED strip adaptions for the Maker Lamp but I wanted something that is mounted securely but can be removed, if necessary. I've created this screwable “socket”. It fits the narrow 7.2 mm LED strips.

I've included the original FreeCAD model files. Feel free to ask for modifications.

Push the socket through shade and base, stick the cables through the hole and tighten from inside the base using the screw.

Print in the model's orientation. No supports needed. The threads are coarse enough to be printed at .2 mm layer height. I would recommend a brim for the socket, just for safety.

I forgot to take pictures of the finished model as I was quite excited to assemble the lamp.
