This is a Modular Filament Spool Rack designed for shelf storage.

Added an excel file with formulas to calculate the length of your rails and the quantity.

It is completely modular, so it can be printed on almost any size printer, and to suit any length.

The model consists of 4 parts:
- Rail
- End
- Join
- Label

The rail has the connection point running through the entire body, so it can be adjusted to any length in your slicer. 

The End and Join are 5mm each, so consider how many you will require and add that to your overall length. 
These are best printed in their vertical orientation, so the connection points are much less likely to snap when connecting to the rails. They will require supports. 
These two parts are also available with anchors, if you wish to screw these into your surface for more security.

The label is best printed on its side with no supports required. They receive labels that are 30x18mm, best printed on cardstock. These snap in place, and do not have to be inserted before assembly, so can be moved and swapped at any time. They can also be printed in the filament they represent as a swatch. 

The parts should have a satisfying snap to connect and should stay in place without glue. but let me know how you go. Happy to make any tweaks and provide variations for tolerance issues. 

I‘ve also added an excel spreadsheet with  formulas to calculate your rails lengths and quantity. Simple input your desired overall finished length and your max print length and it’ll provide you with your parameters.
