I had tried a few of the Quad Lock rings on here but none really worked like I hoped. I look measurements from my Quad Lock car mount to make this ring.

It has small raised lines on the tabs for resistance which engage with the phone case and snap it into place like the original Quad Lock accessories. This will stop it rotating out as easily as others. For the hinge just use a piece of 1.75mm filament (you may need to use a pliers to push it through - this hole is tight intentionally!)
