This is a microscope stand with vertical adjustment that I designed to suit a “Ninyoon 4K WiFi Microscope” although there will be others it fits I expect. The clamp suits a barrel size of 33mm but I have included step files so you could modify if you want.
Vertical axis is a pair of 8mm steel rods and a lead screw, lead screw can be any 8mm rod but I used a 4 start lead screw and anti-backlash nut that I had knocking around.
The bearings and shafts are the common 608 and LM8UU types, all old print building supplies basically.
I weighted the base by filling it full of tacks and the then potting with resin but I want to write a tutorial for that separately as it’s a useful technique.
