This is a set of mushroom-shaped snail traps. The mushroom cap prevents rain from dissolving slug pellets.

To print one, you have to decide which mushroom design you want to use. Then choose the according STL files:

Fly agaric:

• mushroom_cap_flyAgaric.stl
• mushroom_flyAgaric_dots_small.stl
• mushroom_flyAgaric_largeDots.stl

Vornoi mushroom:

• mushroom_vornoi_InnerPart.stl
• mushroom_vornoi.stl

Irregular-shaped mushroom:

• mushroom_cap_irregular_pattern.stl

Additionally, you need

• mushroom_stem.stl
• GroundSpike.stl
• Plate.stl

for every mushroom. They are the same for all caps.

Design

The design is modular. The ground spike, stem, as well as the plate are the same for all mushroom models. The only difference is the cap. All the parts can be easily disassembled to make cleaning or replacing easier.

The caps of the fly agaric, as well as the Voronoi cap, are printed in several parts. You need to glue them together.

Supports

The caps need some support.

With an MK4s, it is possible to print the other parts without support. However, the plate involves a 60% overhang, so it may depend on your printer’s cooling capabilities. Also note that you need to print the stem upside down, which drastically decreases the contact surface. Therefore, make sure that you have good print bed adhesion.
