This is a small box that can be used as a necklace or key ring. It's a fairly simple print, and does not require AMS or a multi-color printer, as long as you know how to manually change filament mid-print.

I recommend printing the box and lid with supports for the opening underneath, and the lid upside down. In my experience, this gives better results.

The decorative plates can be printed in one or more colors as desired. Change the filament when it starts on the first layer with the pattern. Print two decorative plates, and glue them in place.

The smaller the nozzle and layer height, the better the result. The versions in the pictures are printed with the standard 0.4 nozzle, and 0.2mm layer height.

Making your own decorative plates: If you want to create your own designs, create an oval with height 30.6mm, width 22.6mm and height 1mm. This will be the background. Design whatever you want on it. If you use 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height, I recommend avoiding details smaller than 1mm.
