These are the models for my solo RPG Scrying Pool Oracle. The code related to this project can be found here and if you want to read the detailed build log for this project, see my Substack article.

• x8 M3*6 Socket Head Bolt
• x6 M3*8 Socket Head Bolt

Printing

These models are printed with PLA using a 0.40mm nozzle and 0.12mm layer heights. The models are already oriented for optimal printing.

For the top, body and (4x) crystal buttons, supports are needed. The crystal buttons were printed with Bambu Translucent PLA.

Assembly

1. Install the heat-set inserts in the bottom of the base model and the bottom of the top model (3 in each) with a soldering iron at 215F.
2. Install the display within the mount and pressure fit the mount into the bottom of the top piece, aligning the holes with the heat-set inserts.
3. Screw the body to the top heat-set inserts using the M3*8 socket head bolts
4. Mount the electronics to the base using the M3*6 socket head bolts. Theses should be carefully threaded into the plastic. The USB-C port should be facing the back of the base.
5. Wire as per directions in the code repository above.
6. Screw the base into the body using the remaining M3*8 socket head bolts.
