Designed for 53mm diagonal standoff spacing (20x50mm)

I made alot of iterations to optimize the weight vs stiffness. At the end i landed at 3.3g which i think is very competitive to the normal Shark Fin's.

(i personally use these in coldwhite and run them off my 10v bec. But that means im underdriving the leds and they could be much brighter if i had 12V available. Its probably best to choose the 5V version and run dem off of the 5V bec)

!!! IMPORTANT !!! When buying COB Strips for this make sure you buy "480LED/m" in either 2.7mm / 3mm  or 4mm width. 

From my testing all 480LED/m strip can handle overvoltages very very good. Normally once LEDs get a little to hot they just instantly die. On some other strip a 1-2V increase can cause them to instantly overheat and die. These 480LED/m strip can survive a looong loong time at 2x their rated voltage. Sometimes even more. They just get damaged a little from getting hot and so they get darker over time.

2.7mm and 3mm namings are used interchangeably even though the strip width is the same,

The 3V version starts to smoke and gets less bright. The 5V version is also very hot but even after 30 minutes it still lighting up.

When run from 5V, the 3V strip version it quite a bit brighter.

If you want to run it form 5V BEC id recommend to use to 3V strip version for maximum brightness.

If you want to run it from 9V or 10V BEC id recommend to choose the 5V strip version.

PRINT SETTINGS:

• Print in Transparent 95A TPU

• Make sure your bridging is set correctly. Might need to reduce wall count or enable/disable some advanced bridging settings for it to be similar how i sliced it here.

• id recommend 0.2mm or less for layerheight.
