This model is designed to help you dial in the most critical calibrations for 3D printing accuracy. It’s especially useful for anyone setting up a new printer or tuning their slicing profiles for precise fits.
The part is compact, quick to print, and beginner-friendly — designed entirely in Onshape. It includes the following calibration features:
🔧 What You Can Calibrate:
Flow Rate: A thin wall section (0.5 mm thick) lets you verify extrusion accuracy using calipers.
XY Hole Compensation: Four round holes allow you to measure and adjust slicer settings for hole sizing.
Shrinkage Calibration: The center-to-center distance between holes is 2.75 inches — any difference indicates part shrinkage.
Skew Correction: Use diagonal measurements to detect axis misalignment if your X and Y are not exactly 90°.

This is a functional calibration block for precision tuning — not meant to evaluate overhangs, visual artifacts, or seam quality. It’s especially useful for Klipper users (with skew correction) and anyone working toward highly accurate mechanical parts.
