Pocket iPad Stand Parametrics - Functional Hinge — STL Grátis

**Update 13-oct-2019, I modified the hinge gap to 0.4mm, and added a smaller version for an iphone with a case and a ipad mini version with a case, the slots are a little larger.

A little design of my own, it was a request to fill a need, having a small portable stand for an iPad Mini, for work during lunch or at the coffee shop.

The design I have come up with is simple, and the cool thing about it is that there is no assembly required, you just print this, and it's a functional hinge.

It was done in Fusion 360, and printed on my HicTop 3DP12 printer.

It works well with any iPad.

I had to print it a couple of time (ok many times because of video production needs) but all in all, it was an easy design and I like it a lot.

Resolution:

0.1 mm

Infill:

100%

Notes:

You have to have the first layer 0.1mm or 0.2mm the hinge will be fused if you start at 0.3mm, printable in 0.1mm and 0.2mm so you keep the 0.4mm for the hinge.

If you have trouble opening the hinge, lightly pass an exacto knife in the gap of the hinge to help separate the hinge.

This functional ipad stand fully assembled without supports.

The fusion 360 file has many parameters, so you could do other version for iPhones, other tablets ect.
