For my Voron Trident 300 I want to get rid of the cable-chains and go for umbilical. Unfortunatly umbilical never worked out for me, as I wanted. I used a Tophat for my Trident, but was not happy with it (hard to seal, more air to heat, …). With the swing-arm there is no more need for a Tophat.

Luckily I found the swing-arm from Prusa and I remixed it to be useable on a Trident. The base and the arm are fully printable (use supports). 

For the assembly you need the following hardware:

• 2x F695-2RS Bearings (5 mm x 13 mm x 4 mm)
• 1x M5 Heatset-Insert (~9mm long)
• 1x M5x30
• 2x M3 Hammerhead/Rollin

On my assembly, the two bearings have friction - therefore you maybe can't fully tighten the screw and leave it a bit loose. Use some Loctite to not unscrew.

There is also a hole in the front of the arm, to use piano-wire and a hole for a heatset to lock the wire (not tested, because it works for me without the wire).

Important:

Please note, that you have to feed the PTFE-tube for your filament from the side (I drilled a whole in the side-panel). 

Printed with Polymaker ASA, bearings have a good fit on my assembly.

At the moment I'm working on new version with smaller bearings and a second arm to prevent sagging of the arm. This version is fully working, at least for me.
