Descrição
Inspired by classic military and aerospace-style control panels, this project combines safety, practicality, and cool aesthetics. All major components are accessible from the top panel, which is securely fastened to the case using M3 screws (see interior mounting guide images).
🔧 Features
Secure ARM + FIRE switch logic with safety toggle
Dual ignition capability (IGN1 and IGN2) with separate arming switches
Status LEDs for ARM and READY indication on each circuit
Digital voltmeter for battery level monitoring
Large central FIRE button
Integrated speaker grill for audio feedback (optional)
Fits 6x AA battery holder (shown in render)
Clearly labeled connections: ARM1/2, IGN1/2, R1/R2
📐 Construction
All parts are printed in PLA, possibly multicolor, see pictures. Interrupted print for inserts, see pictures.
Assembly uses M3 screws, guided by integrated standoffs and screw holes (see annotated images)
Designed for clean cable routing inside the box
Includes a hidden screw mounting system to keep the top surface clean and professional
Top panel is labeled with engraved and colored legends for clarity
🔌 Electronics (Overview)
Included is a simple schematic (see image) using:
Toggle switches (SPST): link to main switch with led, link to section switches.
Momentary push button, for start, see link.
LEDs (see link) with 1K / 0.25W resistors, see link.
6V battery power (or 4xD holder), see link.
Optional speaker and voltmeter display, see link.
Cables 16AWG for power lines, 24AWG for other wiring, se link for sample.
Banana connectors, see link.
If you want to reduce soldering work use connectors, see link, and this link.
The design follows a dual-arm & fire logic for safety: the launch circuit will not activate unless armed and triggered via the FIRE button. This provides physical redundancy to avoid accidental launches.
