Modular wine rack for easy expandability.

Using a dovetail design, connecting crossbars at the top and bottom, and pins, this wine rack quickly and easily goes together at any width, depth, or height you want. Simply print more main body pieces and interlock them in the same way as all the other pieces. 

Print with supports on the build plate only to prevent having to remove support from inside the pin holes on body pieces. 

As pictured, the project took about 1.5kg of PLA, but can be more or less depending on the size of the rack you want.

I designed this modular wine rack to solve a problem with the cabinet installed in my apartment. For some reason, the cabinet above my fridge has an unusable wine rack, as the span between the two lattices is too far for a normal bottle to fit between without falling. I could have moved one piece of lattice closer to the other, but since I'm renting, would rather not mess with it. Additionally due to the modularity, when I move I'll be able to add or remove pieces to make it fit wherever I decide. The main body pieces were able to fit through the gaps in the lattice, allowing the wine rack to be assembled inside the cabinet.
